New Pets.

So, the 2.5 Update of Aion introduced 13 new pets including a Loot Pet and a Buff Pet but those pets are not available to you unless your character is at least level 50 as they are rewards or even random drop loot from the new instances which were also introduced with the 2.5 Update.

Every player could benefit from having a Loot Pet, lowbies and high levels should both be able to get hold of such a pet. Why the decision was made that only the 50 - 55 level limit could get those pets doesn’t make sense nor is it fair. Here’s hoping that they make Loot Pets and even Buff Pets available to all of those players who want them regardless of what their characters levels are.

Do you know of any other Aion blogs where we can submit screen caps, reblog fanart and stuff like that? I don't see much of that here.

I’m not aware of any other blogs that allow that. This one was created due to a lack of such here at Tumblr. We are welcoming of taking on new blog members who would like to help keep this one more active via the submission of screen caps etc. At the moment I’m just randomly adding stuff here that I think maybe of some interest to fellow Aion players. :)

You are able to implement an in-game function called “AionTweet” so that players are able to update their Twitter without having to leave the game environment, you have also given us a new PIN system for added account security, you have given us pets that will eventually poop out something of value, you have an idea to create a pet that will loot on the player’s behalf and you have also stated that a PvE/PvP switch is an idea that is being considered. Please stop considering a PvE/PvP switch and make it happen! The defense buffs are all well and good when we have them but a HUGE portion of your player base would like to see a PvE/PvP switch implemented. Your players want a choice to be able to flag themselves as PvE-only so that they may quest, grind and gather in peace without being constantly ganked by Twinks. The Twinks are making peoples game play a misery. People are quitting Aion because of the Twinks and the very solution to ending the Twink domination would be to bring in a PvE/PvP switch. We all know that you can do this, so what are you waiting for? Bring it on!!

If the Aion game developers can come up with an idea to implement a system that will allow pets to loot for you, surely they can come up with an idea to implement a system that will allow players the option to switch between a PvE-only and a PvP-active mode. (Please reblog or repost if you agree).

A girl who had deserted her group when Asmos suddenly appeared was overheard calling someone else a lot of real nasty names as well a PvP fail when they merely commented about not being able to complete any quests in a particular area due to the amount of Asmos that were lurking around.

Who are you to call someone else a PvP fail when you ran off and left your two low level friends at the mercy of three high level Asmos? I was there, I saw what happened. You made no effort at all to help out your friends, you just high-tailed it out of the area as quickly as you could yelling for help. Myself and some other random guy helped your friends and we disposed of the Asmos as a team. So before you call someone else a PvP fail, take a good long look at yourself … pot, kettle, black. >_>

Do this and the people that want to PvP can play all they want and the people that PvE can quest in peace.

If you don’t like the option to hide PvE players then you aren’t a PvP player, you are a griefer.

This is a collection of random players thoughts about Rifting …

I think most of the people who are complaining about the rifting change (which I personally think is a really good thing) in Aion are those players who are upset over the fact that they can no longer gank other players who are considerably lower leveled than what they are. Rifting is more of a challenge now folks so suck it up and deal with it … otherwise take your own advice and quit Aion right now!!

Rifting really was abused. There’s nothing remotely fun about running a quest and getting ganked by a group of super high levels in the process. An example: a level 24 in Eiron Forest trying to complete the “Three Kurin Brothers” quest gets ganked by two high level 40s. Hardly seems fair does it? That kind of thing should not be allowed to happen at all in a quest area. (IMHO). Rifting should not allow high level members of the opposing faction into low level quest areas, or any quest areas for that matter. Rifting and questing should be kept separate. PvP and PvE should be kept separate. Totally keep any and all PvP strictly in The Abyss.

Rifting was totally abused left right and center. The nerf was the best thing they ever did and I really hope they keep it. I and many others want to be able to finish quests in our own land in relative peace and quiet. Other games have a choice of being able to play on a PvE or a PvP only server and maybe NCsoft could consider something like that for Aion or even implement an optional PK Mode (ie: if you want to PvP you active PK Mode and away you go. You don’t want to PvP, then that’s your choice, the way it should be).

Dudes, you can still rift it’s just more of a challenge now. Try ganking someone your own freaking level for a change. :P
